Whiteboy born 12/24/2006

A son of Bobalou and Angel

Whiteboy is a typical all around Catahoula working dog, with a lot of grit, personality and well focused. He would do well as a hog dog, blood trail dog, cow dog, watch dog and pet. And he can do it all by hisself.

In 1996, I turned down $5,000 for Frank, the father of Bob and grandfather of Whiteboy.
Here is an archival photo of me and Frank on an ancient Bald Cypress Tree in Lake Martin

Whiteboy is also a grandson of C Arrow Patch and Ruby on his dame's side.

Whiteboy is a littermate brother of Spider and Jesse. This was Bob's last litter and Angels first.

Here is Bob at two years old.

I knew it was the end for Bob and I did not have but one male puppy off of him. Angel was only a year and a half old, but I knew this was my only chance to get some of him into the Blair bloodline before he was gone.

This photo shows Spider who is an excellent example of crossing Bob and AngelHere is Spider at three years old, winding a hog off of the boat.

Spider was finding his own hogs before he was a 2 years old, and out hunting experienced dogs the first day he hit the marsh. About six months after my friend got Spider he told me he has wanted a dog like this all his life.

Many people fail to value, and understand the intelligence, working abilities, versatility and flexibility of a Catahoula. They are eager to please the people they love, and ready to work hard for your approval.

Today too many people are buying for show, and leopard colors with blue eyes, blaze face, and white tipped tail is everything. This has led to some breeders(who are only in it for the money), creating bloodlines that have no working abilities, and too much white. The next problem was a myth that all dogs with a lot of white are deaf and blind. It is a myth!

But most people have bought the myth and believe the white dogs are no good.

For this reason, a pick of the litter such a Whiteboy, will most likely live and die at my house, but if you like what you see, call me and come visit, he is for sale for the right price.

And the price is not as important as if you qualify to own my dogs.
